Please vacate your room by 10:00 a.m. on the day of departure so that we have time to prepare the room for the next guest. We will be happy to store your luggage free of charge. If you would prefer a late departure, please contact us so that we can check whether this is possible.

The Amtssee lake is located directly next to the Hotel Haus Chorin. The lake is a maximum of 6.5 metres deep. Swimming is permitted.

Baby cots and bed linen are available in our house for our younger guests. Please let us know if you require these.

If you require a bathroom stool or similar item, please contact reception.

Chorin railway station is approximately a 20-minute walk from Hotel Haus Chorin. Where possible, our shuttle bus is also available for your use. Please note that we charge €2.50 per journey.

Berlin city centre is approximately 70 kilometres from Hotel Haus Chorin and can be reached easily and inexpensively by train from Chorin Kloster station without having to change trains.

If required, we can also change your bed linen on a daily basis for an additional charge. Please inform our reception staff if you would like to use this service.

There is a pool table and cues/chalk in the hotel foyer. This can be used by guests free of charge.

If you do not wish to be disturbed during your stay in the guest room, please hang the "Do Not Disturb" sign provided in the room on the outside of your room door knob.

We are happy to order flowers according to your needs. You will also find various flower shops in Eberswalde and Angermünde.

There is a bowling alley with two lanes on the ground floor. The price is €15.00 per lane per hour. The rental fee for bowling shoes is €1.00 per person.

Please ask at our reception if there is anything we can do for you.

Our shuttle service can be booked on request, subject to availability. We will be happy to pick you up from Chorin railway station and take you there. The price is €2.50 per journey per person.

Toiletries, batteries and cigarettes are available at our reception. Further shopping facilities can be found in Eberswalde. There is a Shell petrol station 10 kilometres away, which is open daily. You can also buy everyday groceries there (Breite Straße, 16225 Eberswalde).

Sustainability and careful use of resources are important to us. We have a charging point for electric cars and electric bicycles. We charge €39.00 for a full charge.

Our reception staff will be happy to assist you in this regard.

There is a lift in the main building serving the ground floor to the third floor. Please note that use of the lift is not permitted in the event of a fire.

The Hotel Haus Chorin offers a number of spacious rooms that can easily be equipped with an extra bed or cot. 

We would be delighted to host your celebration in our premises. Whether it's a wedding, christening or birthday, we will provide the perfect setting to suit your requirements. In addition to our facilities in the main hotel building, we also host banquets in our restaurant "Alte Klosterschänke" on the south side of the Amtssee lake and can assist you with collaborations with Chorin Abbey.

Please note the evacuation plans displayed in your guest room and public areas. In the event of a necessary evacuation, an emergency signal will sound over the loudspeakers installed in the building. The assembly point is located in the lower car park.

Our breakfast buffet is available from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the restaurant on the first floor. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, it is available until 10:30 a.m. We kindly ask you to observe the check-out time of 10:00 a.m. and to vacate your guest room on time. We will be happy to store your luggage for you.

We would be delighted if you would sign our guest book, which is available at reception.

In addition to our main building, we also offer accommodation in our surrounding guest houses. The rooms offer less comfort and are a cost-effective alternative for a stay in the Schorfheide Biosphere Reserve or for a business overnight stay.

We will gladly store your luggage free of charge in our luggage room on the ground floor.

Please refer to the notices in the foyer or ask at our reception desk for information about current church services.

If needed, we will change your towels for an additional fee on a daily basis. Please inform our reception staff if this service is desired.

In addition to the recently renovated guest rooms, our main building houses the reception, the restaurant on the Amtssee lake with a terrace and breakfast menu, conference rooms, and a bowling alley.

If your room is too cold, you can gladly borrow a heater for your comfort.

Every year, many wedding celebrations are held in our house, and we receive a lot of praise for our planning. The Chorin Monastery conducts weddings in an unforgettable setting. Please get in touch with us.

Please note that pets of any kind are not allowed in our house.

Wi-Fi is available for free throughout the hotel and is not password protected.

The Chorin Monastery is just a few minutes' walk from the Hotel Haus Chorin. In addition to tours, the Chorin Monastery also serves as a venue for many small events and the Chorin Music Summer from July to August each year.

We are aware that in summer we also play host to mosquitoes that organize themselves into large groups for enjoyment in the region. Please contact the reception if you need insect repellent.

Every year from July to August, the Chorin Music Summer is held at Chorin Monastery.

Please note that our house is monitored overnight by a security service. Your room key opens and closes the side door of the hotel's main entrance. The reception is not staffed at night.

You can receive a needle and thread free of charge at our reception.

Smoking is not permitted in any of the rooms or public areas. You are welcome to use the balcony or terrace of your room, if available. We thank you for your understanding. In the event of violations, the hotel reserves the right to claim any resulting damages from the guest and to issue a ban from the premises.

Please inform us immediately if an emergency has occurred by calling 800 or 801/802.

The public emergency numbers are: 110 for the police and 112 for the fire brigade.

We do not charge a fee for the existing parking spaces at the hotel. Please note that the hotel does not take any responsibility for any damages.

Our shoe cleaning machines on the floors of the main building of the hotel ensure clean shoes. You can find another shoe cleaning machine in our house by the woods.

Chorin Abbey (10 minutes walk)

The Cistercian abbey of Chorin was founded in 1273 and is one of the most significant buildings of northern German brick Gothic architecture. Tickets can be purchased directly at the abbey.

Alpaca Farm Schorfheide (approx. 5 kilometers)

Meet the fluffy small camels on the local farm in Serwest. The team is also working on an alpaca therapy for people with disabilities.

Niederfinow Ship Lift (20 kilometers)

The ship lift was put into operation in 1934 and connects the Oder-Havel Canal and the Finow Canal. It is one of the most impressive structures of this century.

Brodowin Ecovillage (8 kilometers)

High-quality food is produced in the best Demeter quality at the Brodowin ecovillage, and both young and old have the opportunity to look behind the scenes. Guided tours of the farm, through the stables, and past the glass creamery are offered.

Eberswalde Zoo (14 kilometers)

A visit to the zoo in Eberswalde is a unique experience, as it provides a home not only to native species but also to exotic animals.

Biorama Project (14 kilometers)

The publicly accessible observation platform is located on the roof of a former water tower, which is under monument protection, and offers a wonderful panoramic view of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Schorfheide-Chorin, the 35-kilometer distant German-Polish border, and the tip of the Berlin TV tower (70 kilometers).

Ehm-Welk Museum (17 kilometers)

The literature museum, opened in 1974, is dedicated to the life of the writer Ehm Welk and offers guided tours and readings by appointment.

Geological Garden Stolzenhagen (20 kilometers)

The Geological Garden in Stolzenhagen guides you through the Ice Age and the landscape of northern Brandenburg.

Nabu Information Center (22 kilometers)

Experience the fascinating nature of the Schorfheide biosphere reserve.

Aviation History Museum (26 kilometers)

Historical exhibition of airplanes, engines, vehicle books, and much more. The technically interested visitor receives extensive information on aviation.

Oderbruch (35 kilometers)

The Oderbruch gained sad fame in 1997 during the century's flood. We recommend a visit to the open-air museum in Altranft, as well as a hike along the dikes.

Lenné Park Criewen (35 kilometers)

Relax in the nature of the park and admire Lenné's garden architecture.

Schorfheide Wildlife Park in Groß Schönebeck (40 kilometers)

Home to free-roaming animals and a petting zoo. Wolves can also be viewed.

Lower Oder Valley National Park (40 kilometers)

Observe rare bird species and enjoy a hike along the dikes.

Werbellinsee (40 kilometers)

According to Theodor Fontane, the most beautiful lake in the Mark Brandenburg with a depth of 55 meters. Enjoy a summer swim or a boat trip that is offered.

The area of the Schorfheide Biosphere Reserve has a variety of marked hiking trails for all levels of endurance and fitness. You can receive hiking maps at the reception.

Please note that there is only limited insurance coverage for valuables in your guest room. We would be happy to secure your valuables in a safe at our reception.

You can find a changing table in the public restrooms on the ground floor.
